More than twenty-five years ago, in a small Brussels jazz club, the idea of creating this Brussels Jazz Orchestra was born. Today it’s one of the best orchestras in the world.
With award-winning projects like the film “The artist”, collaborations with great national and international artists such as Bert Joris, Enrico Pieranunzi and Maria Schneider, as well as amazing experiences like “We orchestrate words” with DJ Grazzhoppa and the rapper ZED, the orchestra always manages to surprise, exceed expectations and inspire a new generation for jazz.
It is the story of this orchestra and its daily life that this film tells, the tensions sometimes within the group, friendships and especially the mixture of professionalism and pleasure.
