The Namur Tourist Office, in collaboration with the Sports and Culture services of the City of Namur, has developed tourist running routes (discovering the city while running) allowing you to discover the tourist and cultural attractions of Namur to the rhythm of your strides!
Discover the tourist riches of Namur in a healthy and original way and enjoy the breathtaking views of the city by criss-crossing the banks of the Meuse and Sambre and the famous Citadel, privileged witness to 2,000 years of history!
The use is very simple: Just download the free Jooks application on your smartphone, activate the GPS geolocation system and choose the route that suits you. Then, all you have to do is let yourself be guided by the audio commentaries.
The four routes to discover are:
– Escape to the Heart of Namur – 3.6 km
– Namur between Eau and Fortress – 8.5 km
– Namur unveils its Folklore – 4.5 km
– Urban art comes to Namur – 5.5 km
