The Church of Notre Dame d’Harscamp, a major example of classical architecture and Baroque sculpture, is an 18th-century jewel, listed since 1936 and recognised as Wallonia’s Outstanding Heritage. It was desecrated in 2004 and renamed the Espace Culturel d’Harscamp.
You can push open the doors of this place not only to enjoy its remarkable architecture, but also to discover a diversified cultural offer!
The creation of this new cultural centre will provide a new venue to complement the existing structures.
The venue is open to any artistic approach that fits in with the spirit of the place: theatrical performances, vocal or acoustic concerts, painting and photography exhibitions, digital art festivals, craft exhibitions, choirs, classical music concerts, etc. It is also set to become an additional space of expression for Namur’s amateur cultural players.
