From Naninne station, follow the road to the neo-Gothic Church of Saint-Lambert.
After passing the football pitch, take a pretty path down into the Bois de Dave (not far from the Fort de Dave, one of the nine fortified positions in Namur), until you reach the level of the Meuse. From here, you can see the Isle of Dave, one of the largest in Belgium, a nature reserve in the Natura 2000 protected area.
On the way back, you’ll pass by Saint-Martin Church (16th century), based on an ancient Romanesque building, and Dave Castle. Before reaching your starting point, you will cross one of the many “Piscinte“, which in Walloon means “small narrow road that can only be travelled on foot”.
