THE MOTS-AÏQUE FESTIVAL MAKES ITS RETURN… HOME
It’s now a tradition, every year the Mots-aïque Festival makes its fall return! On the other hand, it will no longer be the Namur Cultural Center but rather the Maison de la Poésie which will be the theater of this new edition.
A return home, as if obvious, in the heart of rue Fumal and the Bateliers museum center where the vestiges of so many stories and improbable encounters still hover. Where many artists of yesterday and today have left their traces and this who knows what reverie.
Once again, Mots-aïque will be aimed at adults and children. There will be poetic shows, creative workshops, music, slam…L
the complete weekend program will soon be on the Maison de la Poésie website. In the meantime, here is an overview of some of the highlights of the festival:
FRI. 11/24: “The Spring of the World” with Marvin Mariano. A poetic biopic of Pablo Neruda.
SAT. 25/11: “Les deux contes” by Laurence Vielle in the afternoon and evening, Carte blanche to Lisette Lombé. For one evening, our next National Poet will be the hostess of some Belgian authors who will share their words and their language with the public.
