Haydn is considered the father of symphonic music. He wrote more than a hundred symphonies full of inventiveness and humor. Les Adieux is undoubtedly the first union demand of musicians! This ends with the staggered departure of all the musicians, leaving only two violins, in order to make Prince Esterhazy understand that the court musicians were eager to rejoin their families.
Mozart was strongly inspired by the music of Haydn and composed works based on the models invented by the latter.
