The Delta is associated with the tribute paid to the photographer Pierre Dandoy (born January 27, 1922 in Namur where he died February 17, 2003), an artist well known to the people of Namur.
In the museum space, the exhibition brings together a series of archive photographs by another Namur artist: Evelyne Axell.
The shots are, for the most part, unpublished, these being in reality negatives never printed. Taken between 1959 and 1962, when Axell worked mainly as an actress and as a “speakerine” for the small screen, these astonishing images testify to the friendly and artistic complicity between the two artists and question the inventive relationship between a photographer and his model.
