Draw Namur, from all angles, from top to bottom and bottom to top, in all styles, all techniques. Draw all its corners, each at its own pace, in its own way, but as we see it, on July 8 and 9, 2023.
Such is the challenge of these two days of international meeting of Urban Sketchers, these followers of the sketch of life as it goes.
“Drawing Namur”: this is the name of the event. Selected by Urban Sketchers international in the same way as 4 other cities in the world (including Florence), Namur will bring together more than 150 artists at the Delta, from Luxembourg, France, the Netherlands, Germany… Artists who will disseminate in the alleys, on the terraces of the Citadel or on the banks of the Meuse. In less than two days, several thousand sketches will be made and shared around the world on social networks.
This creative, friendly, rare and free event is sold out, but nothing prevents you from joining the “sketchers”, equipped with your own equipment.
This event, organized by Urban Sketchers Namur and Urban Sketchers Belgium, received support from the City of Namur and Namur Confluent Culture, the Namur Tourist Office, the Province of Namur, Delta, Urban Sketchers International but also loyal sponsors.
