Zero Carbon Records – Sylvain Chauveau and Manu Louis – Les Singuliers pluriels
Sylvain Chauveau is known for his minimal and refined compositions for acoustic, electronic instruments and (sometimes) vocals. Her music, which is often associated with that of Philippe Glass, has taken her around the world. Manu Louis is a passionate singer, button shaker and guitarist. He is as comfortable with danceable electronic music as with classical or jazz musicians. The unique aspect of this double concert lies in the question that these two musicians asked themselves: can the music sector adopt a mode of operation that really takes into account the ecological emergency? With their Zero Carbon Records project, the two musicians travel by cargo bike and offer a concert without amplification or power supply, with music thought out and created in advance for such a context. The local public is each time invited and encouraged to also go to the concert venue without a motorized vehicle: by bike or on foot.
