The church of Saint Julie is located in the convent of the Sisters of Notre Dame in Namur, a teaching congregation present on all continents. Rebuilt after the bombings of 1940 and 1944, it welcomes today those who wish to discover the life and spirituality of St. Julie Billiart (1751-1816), who founded free schools for poor young girls.
Very modern, the Heritage Centre has been designed to arouse the emotions of visitors! Young people and elderly will be delighted to discover a saint of our regions: a woman of character who worked, in the aftermath of the French Revolution, to the development of a more just world.
